Jun 30, 2008 - At first your idea makes perfect sense, but take to consideration that even if the wages went up, most "Americans" would not work those jobs. Ex: 2 jobs. One making burgers for $8 an hour and the other, the same wage, cleaning bathrooms and picking up peoples shit. Hmmmmmm... what sounds more appealing. In all honesty, i would rather make the food than clean up whats left of it in the bathroom.

Jul 3, 2008 - actually there had been quite alot of mexicans in this country since the 1910's. That due because of the mexican revolution, although alot came to the U.S. in that time, it was nothing compared to the number that came here from the 60's to 80's. My point is though when those first few thousand mexicans that came here in the 1910's we're treated horribly by the whites back then. Probably jealous because they have no rythem :)

That is probably because many more people from the Mexican middle and upper classes came here during the Mexican Revolution than today.
